Silang calls for caution as COVID-19 cases rise
Silang has not been spared from the recent increase in COVID-19 cases
Silang Mayor Corie Poblete has asked the public to comply with health protocols, such as wearing of masks and observance of physical distancing, after the municipality logged more cases.
As of January 2, it had 24 active cases, according to the Silang rural health unit.
This brought to 5,988 the confirmed COVID-19 cases in town, the RHU said on its Facebook page.
“Tulong-tulong na po tayo! Magkaroon tayo ng pagkakaisa sa panahong ito dahil hindi na biro ang ating nararanasan ngayon,” it said.
