Municipality of Sampaloc holds mass to mark the first official working day of the year

The Sampaloc, Quezon local government started the first working day of the year with thanksgiving and prayers.
The local government held a mass to mark the beginning of the new year.
The mass was celebrated by Father Arnel Galleon who preached about the importance of forgiveness, generosity, helpfulness, and unity between the church and local government, the local government said on its Facebook page.
Sampaloc Mayor Gelo Devanadera also issued a reminder to the public to continue to exercise caution in light of the presence of the Omicron variant in the country.
Devanadera also called on those who are unvaccinated against COVID-19 to get the jab in order to safeguard their health.
