The local government of Morong, Rizal has turned to social media to keep its people updated.

In its Facebook page, the Municipality of Morong announced that it has created its own Instagram account and advised people to follow it.

The IG account would share high resolution photos and videos of Morong, it said.

It would promote the town and share advertisements, public advisories, and news to keep people in the loop, it said.

So far, the IG account has shared photos of the different sights and a local business in Morong, as well as an awarding ceremony for taxpayers.
