Hard work pays off! Laguna Vice Gov. Karen Agapay completes MCLE

Some say people’s brains deteriorate with age, but Laguna Vice Gov. Karen Agapay has shown that this is not always true.
Agapay has passed 16 courses in the Mandatory Continuing Legal Education for practicing lawyers.
In a Facebook post, Agapay shared that she used techniques for studying law that she had taught her students.
She also said her online class required an open camera, so the lecturers know if the participants are really the ones attending the lectures and taking the exams.
The participants had to maintain an average grade of 75 percent to pass, and she did.
With this experience, she realized that she could achieve something if she puts her mind to it.
All she needed was focus and discipline, she said.
Kayang-kaya!
“Kapag daw umeedad na, ‘pumupurol’ na ang ating utak…
Last Aug 8 to Sept 2, sinabayan ko ng enroll sa online Mandatory Continuing Legal Education (MCLE) for practicing lawyers, during my free time. 16 courses. Ginamit ko techniques na itinuro ko din sa mga former students ko on how to effectively study law. Naka open ang camera, kaya alam nila kung ikaw nga yun nakikinig sa lectures at nag e exam. Meron kasi 2 to 3 exams sa bawat course. And you have to maintain an average of at least 75% to pass….
Paano mo malalaman kung di mo susubukan? And i did, I passed!

It’s a realization na kakayanin pa naman pala kung talagang gugustuhin mo. Focus and discipline lang…
Cheers to us GenX babies! Have an exciting Year of the Tiger! #TigerBabies,” Agapay posted.
