Taytay grants tax relief, subsidy to businesses for 2022
The Taytay government has made sure that 2022 will be off to a good start for businesses operating in the municipality.
In a Facebook post, Taytay Mayor Joric Gacula said the ordinances that the local government has approved would provide amnesty to delinquent taxpayers who would pay their obligations this 2022.
There would also be extended registration and tax subsidy for other taxypayers, Gacula said.
He said these measures were approved to help Taytay residents and businesses, as the local government has seen how they had suffered during the pandemic.
Among the hardest hit was the garments industry, which Taytay has been known for, he noted.
“Nakita natin ang naging epekto ng pandemya sa ating mga kababayan, mas lalo na sa ating Tiangge at Garment industry, kaya naman malaking tulong para sa kanila ang tax relief at subsidiya para sa mga buwis,” he said.
Through these relief and tax subsidy measures, businesses would get a helping hand and Taytay’s economy would get a boost, he said.
“Sama-sama po tayo sa pagbangon, Taytayeños!” he added.
