Carmona gives P50k cash incentive to a woman who reached her 90s
A resident of Carmona turned 90 years old and got a P50,000 bonus from the local government.
Carmona Mayor Roy Loyola said a plaque of recognition and the cash incentive was given to Nanay Julia.
Cavite Rep. Dahlia Loyola and Vice Mayor Cesar Ines led the local officials who visited her to give her the gifts.
The mayor said the incentives for residents who turned 90 were provided for under a local ordinance approved in 2019.
“Talagang maligaya ang Pasko ni Nanay Julia, isang nonagenarian, dahil nakatanggap siya ng Plaque of Recognition at one-time cash incentive na PHP 50,000 mula sa Lokal na Pamahalaan,” he said.
