Cavite Rep. Strike Revilla honors late colleague
When Cavite Rep. Strike Revilla was Bacoor mayor, he worked well with then Vice Mayor Rosette Miranda Fernando in running the city.
Which is why Revilla is mourning Fernando’s death.
In a Facebook post, Revilla paid tribute to the former Vice Mayor.
He said Fernando was well-loved by her colleagues and constituents.
She holds a special place in his and his wife Chaye’s hearts, and to them, she is family, he said.
He thanked her for her years in public service and said the people will never forget her sense of leadership, grace, and compassion.
She will always be fondly remembered!
“Pagbibigay-pugay at parangal sa ating minamahal na dating Vice Mayor Rosette Miranda Fernando.
Vice Rosette was well-loved, both by colleagues and her constituents. During yours truly’s first two terms as mayor of Bacoor, naging kaagapay po natin siya sa paglilingkod at pagpapatupad ng mga proyekto at programa sa ating lungsod.
She holds a very special place in my heart, sa amin ng aking asawang si Chaye. Sa ilang dekada ng aming pinagsamahan, she was more than a vice mayor, a colleague — she was family.
Vice Ate Rosette, salamat sa maraming taon ng iyong buhay na inilaan mo sa paglilingkod sa ating mga kapwa Bacooreño. We will never forget your sense of leadership, grace, and compassion. Mahal ka namin.
Sa kanyang pamilya, mga kaibigan, mahal sa buhay, ang aming taos pusong pakikiramay. May God guide and comfort you during this difficult time.
