Rep. Helen Tan files candidacy for Quezon Governor
Lucena City Quezon Representative Angelina “Helen” Tan has filed her certificate of candidacy (COC) for Quezon governor in the 2022 elections.
Tan filed her COC on Sunday at the Comelec -Quezon office with her running mate, Lucena Councilor Anacleto Alcala III.
The lawmaker’s move sets up a potential showdown with incumbent Quezon Governor Danilo Suarez.
Tan, a doctor by profession, is now on her last term as a lawmaker. She is running under the Nationalist People’s Coalition.
