Oops! Tagaytay Councilor Athena Tolentino says Rappler got her name wrong
Tagaytay Councilor Athena Tolentino has made headlines because of her bid for the position of Vice Governor.
However, one news outlet got her first name wrong.
In a Facebook post, Tolentino shared a post from Rappler that reported on her filing of certificate of candidacy and identified her as “Althea” Tolentino.
She thanked Rappler, but said her mother might get angry because her name has been changed.
Looks like a fact-check is needed!
“Thanks, Rappler! Baka magalit yung nanay ko, napalitan niyo yung pangalan ko,” Tolentino posted.
