Laguna Vice Gov. Karen Agapay taps bayanihan spirit to fix water pumps
Laguna Vice Gov. Karen Agapay took a page from the Girl Scouts when she set out to launch a community project.
In a Facebook post, Agapay said she used the Chief Girl Scout Medal Scheme where a scout would recruit all of those who could help in a project for a community.
Agapay and barangay captain Analayn Nava worked together to get the residents of the community to help fix two old water pumps in the area.
This would benefit a lot of people and ensure that they have clean water, which is all the more essential amid the pandemic.
The Vice Governor said she was happy that many came to help, proving that the bayanihan spirit is alive.
She thanked those all who came to pitch in.
Working together can achieve something good!
