Cavite Rep. Strike Revilla tries to make things normal for his daughter
Children’s lives and routines have been upended by the pandemic, which could affect their physical and mental health.
But Cavite Rep. Strike Revilla said parents should make the effort to try to make some things normal for them for the sake of their well-being without comprising their safety.
In a Facebook post, Revilla shared that one of the ways he makes his daughter Chayeli experience normal things is by ordering a meal from McDonald’s via drive thru.
Chayeli gets to see the outside world from the car while getting to enjoy a meal from her favorite place!
“This pandemic could greatly affect our children’s physical and mental well-being. Let us still try to make things ‘normal’ for them, in our own ways — without compromising their health and safety, of course.
One of our bonding activities is driving thru McDonalds, my princess Chayeli’s favorite.
Have a blessed and safe Sunday, mga kababayan. Ingat po tayo lagi.
#InsertMommy,” Revilla posted.
