Delta variant? Remulla: High viral load detected in new COVID cases in Cavite
Cavite Governor Jonvic Remulla bared that new cases of COVID-19 in the province exhibited high viral load, a quality that can be associated with the dreaded Delta variant.
In a Facebook post, Remulla said experts from the DLSU-HIS detected higher viral load from the new reported cases of COVID-19.
However, it cannot be confirmed whether or not it was because of the highly transmissible Delta variant due to Cavite’s lack of facility.
Mas madaling makahawa at mabilis ring kumalat.
Detecting variants of COVID-19 can be done through genome sequencing, a laboratory process that is now currently available at the Philippine Genome Center.
