Home for the Aged: Soon to rise in Cainta
Mayor Kit Nieto announced the start of the construction of the Home for the Aged in Cainta to provide shelter to all abandoned, poor, sick and homeless elderly in the town.
In a Facebook post, the mayor said the facility will have 2 floors, 1,200 square meter total floor area, 400 square meter indoor recreational area, and prayer room
The nursing home will be manned by in-house nurses, dietician, physical therapist and caregivers, he added.
“Tatanggap din tayo ng mga seniors na hindi kayang alagaan ng mga kapamilya nila sa maraming kadahilanan. Wala silang babayaran, gobyerno ang bahala,” Nieto said.
