Donut hesitate to try this locally made treat, says Calamba Councilor Rajay Lajara

Jul 20, 2021 @ 9:41

Calamba Councilor Rajay Lajara has found a possible alternative to popular donut brands in his city.

In a Facebook post, Lajara invited his friends and followers to check out the special donuts sold by Mean Gonzales of Del Pilar.

Lajara said Gonzales has been selling her special donuts for 10 years, using the recipe of her father.

She is able to sell 600 donuts a day.

The politiko expressed admiration for Gonzales, who makes the donuts herself.

Her love and dedication in making these treats could be the special ingredients that make her products taste so good, he said.

Those who want to taste these donuts could find her at the Crossing every morning, and at the Plaza every afternoon.

Why not give yourself a local treat?

“JCo? Krispy Kreme? Dunkin Donuts?
