PNoy inspired him to join public service, says Silang Vice Mayor Aidel Belamide
Silang Vice Mayor Aidel Belamide became a politiko partly because of of former President Benigno Aquino III.
In a Facebook post, Belamide share that he first got to see Aquino when the latter was a Senator and he was an intern.
Later, his friends went to work for Aquino when he became President.
According to him, Aquino was one of the reasons he chose to go into public service.
He saw his values and dreams reflected in Aquino’s words and actions.
Aquino may not have been the perfect President, but he learned a lot from him, such as humility and faith in the goodness and competence of Filipinos.
He vowed to emulate Aquino’s good works.
Through people like him, Aquino’s legacy could live on!
Not perfect, sabi nga ng marami.
