Goodbye, computer shop? Silang Mayor Corie Poblete receives donated laptops for teachers and students
The demands of online classes have sent many students visiting computer shops.
But this could be a thing of the past for some of them as Silang Mayor Corie Poblete has received a donation of 30 laptops from the Ayala Foundation.
In a Facebook post, Poblete said these would be for the Silang Central School, Malabag Elementary School, Bulihan Sites and Services Project Elementary School, Bagong Buhay Elementary School and Kaong Elementary School.
These laptops are expected to help students and teachers cope with the new normal in education, she said.
She would do all she could to help Silang students with their studies, she added.
Maybe the students could save on computer shop fees now!
Keep safe and God Bless mga ka-Silangueño
#maCiglangpagasenso,” Poblete posted.
