San Pedro Mayor Lourdes Cataquiz says the drug problem is also a priority during the pandemic
Even if the local government is busy dealing with the COVID-19 pandemic, San Pedro Mayor Lourdes Cataquiz said she has also maintained the focus on the fight against the illegal drug trade.
In a Facebook post, Cataquiz said she continues to look for solutions to the problem.
She wants to help the youth of San Pedro who had been led astray by drugs, she said.
She considers drugs to be a social disease, she added.
She vowed to put up a Balay Silangan on government property to serve as a rehabilitation area for drug users.
Even with the coronavirus, she hasn’t forgotten other problems!
