Aspin for the win! Angono Councilor Leah Villalon flexes her pet
Angono Councilor Leah Villalon’s beloved pet is one rescued from the streets.
In a Facebook post, Villalon shared the heartwarming story of how she met her aspin.
She said she adopted the dog after meeting it while jogging on March 28, 2017.
She greeted the dog upon seeing it, and it followed her and even lay beside her.
She then asked the guards if anybody owned the dog, and was told that it belonged to no one and was just wandering around CPP.
According to Villalon, taking care of a dog is a big responsibility, and it could be harder if one adopts a grown dog rather than a puppy, as in her case.
But she believes her decision to adopt the grown dog is a good one and she feels lucky to have met her dog, who is cheerful, affectionate, smart, and alert.
Her dog is even smarter than purebreeds, she said.
Many more aspins are just waiting for somebody to love them, she said.
If you want to be lucky like Villalon, why not adopt one?
#aspin,” Villalon posted.
