Tilapia pa more! San Pablo Councilor Karla Adajar distributes 50k tilapia fingerlings
San Pablo Councilor Karla Adajar has significantly added to the tilapia population in Sampaloc lake.
To celebrate the Tilapia festival, Adajar distributed 50,000 tilapia fingerlings for fisherfolk and did 50,000 lake seeding in Sampaloc lake in coordination with the Bureau of Fisheries and Aquatic Resources.
In a Facebook post, Adajar said the people fishing around Sampaloc lake would surely be happy as there’s a good chance they’d catch a fish.
She also led a committee hearing on institutionalizing the Agri-Fish Livelihood program in the city.
Adajar was up to all kinds of fishy stuff, and it was good for San Pablo!
“A good friend once told me, that to have a better impact in the lives of our people, we have to institutionalize programs.
In simple celebration of Tilapia Festival we have distributed 50,000 tilapia fingerlings for our fishfolks and did 50,000 lake seeding in Sampaloc lake. Thank You BFAR, especially Mam Emy for accommodating our request! Ang daming tilapia po nito, tuwang tuwa sigurado yung mga kilala kong namimingwit sa gilid ng lawa! Mam, to follow po yung ibang deliverables ko po, promise
