Mayor Gemma Lubigan: Trece Martires No. 1 in rubella, measles, and polio vaccination

Mayor Gemma Lubigan proudly announced that the City of Trece Martires achieved the highest coverage rate in the government’s vaccination drive against rubella (German measles), measles (tigdas), and polio.

The Politiko shared the news in a Facebook post on Wednesday.

“Binabati ko ang lahat ng Health Care Workers ng Lungsod ng Trece Martires sa pagiging NUMBER 1 sa BUONG PILIPINAS para sa VACCINATION PROGRAM – KONTRA POLIO, TIGDAS at RUBELLA,” the mayor said.

“Mula sa City Health Office tayo po ay nakapag tala ng 17,920 bilang na batang nabakunahan ng POLIO at 15, 146 bilang ng batang nabakunahan ng TIGDAS AT RUBELLA,” she added.

Lubigan thanked and congratulated the city health workers for their hardwork that led to the recognition.

“Kayo po ang pangunahing dahilan kung bakit tayo #1 sa buong Pilipinas para sa adbokasiyang #ChikitingLigtas. Salute!” she said.
