An impounding center will be established in Dasmariñas to address the city’s problem on stray dogs, Cavite Rep. Pidi Barzaga said.

According to the Barzaga, husband of Dasmariñas mayor Jennifer Barzaga, the city government is spending almost a million peso to purchase anti rabies vaccine for those who were bitten by dogs.

The veteran Politiko said an ordinance will be issued mandating the capture of stray dogs in the city. Those who will not be claimed by their owners after 10 days will be put for adoption.

He then urged Dasmariñas residents to participate in the public hearing for the proposed ordinance.

Politiko would love to hear your views on this...
