The Cabuyao city government has allocated an additional P68-million budget to ensure that cash assistance will be provided to over 91,000 families in the city affected by the lockdown.

The additional budget will cover the P297,809,000 aid fund from the national government.

On Tuesday, April 13, the house-to-house distribution of cash assistance for city residents has begun.

The city government said decided to conduct house-to-house payouts to ensure the safety of its residents amid the rising COVID-19 case.
