The Municipal Government of Naic, led by Mayor Junio Dualan, has set aside an additional P40 million to augment the insufficient allocation of the national government for the town’s beneficiaries for the financial assistance amid the reimposed lockdown.
While they are thankful for the P115,822,000 allocation of the national government for Naic, Dualan noted that the fund is insufficient as it was based on an outdated census.
Kulang po tayo ng pondo para sa nalalabing 20,000 households,” the mayor said in a Facebook post.
He added that local officials came up with the solution of allocating P40 million from the town’s savings to augment the insufficient ayuda funds.
