Cavite Governor Jonvic Remulla on Saturday urged the public not to blame local government units for the bottleneck of people and confusion in checkpoints due to the reimposed enhanced community quarantine in Greater Manila Area.

In a Facebook post, Remulla said authorities thought that by merely reimposing ECQ, the people will immediately understand the need to stay at home as much as possible.

“Pero ano ang nangyari? Aba pareho ang checkpoint bottleneck katulad sa 2020 ngunit dahil walang Q-Pass ang akala ng iba ay malaya na silang makakalabas katulad noong MGCQ,” the politiko said.

CResulta? Katakot-takot na traffic ang inaabot ng ating mga essential commuters,”he added.

But despite this, Remulla said they will not change the rigorous checkpoint.

” If we will not change? Then the movement behavior should,” he noted.

” Pag kayo ay lumabas at na-traffic ng sobra ay hindi kami nagkulang sa babala,” he said, adding that heavy traffic hampers the operation of emergency vehicles.

Politiko would love to hear your views on this...
