Stay away from the nega, says Cuenca Mayor Faye Endaya Barretto
There are some negatives we really must avoid, according to Cuenca Mayor Faye Endaya Barretto.
No, they are not the ones who are negative for COVID 19, but the ones who are negative about COVID 19.
In a Facebook post, Barretto said we should not listen to negastars who share false claims about COVID 19 vaccines.
We should stick to facts to have peace of mind, she said.
She also shared an article from Philippine Ambassador the US Jose Romualdez who denounced individuals circulating half truths or false claims about the pandemic and the vaccines.
Barretto also reminded people to continue following health protocols even after getting vaccinated to avoid spreading the virus.
When it comes to battling the pandemic, let’s stick to what is true!
“Please read… We should not listen to “negastars” spreading false stories. Let us stick to the facts for our peace of mind. Even after getting vaccinated, health protocols should still be strictly followed to avoid the further spread of the virus,” Barretto posted.
