Aside from planting ornamentals, why not plant something you can eat or drink?
In a Facebook post, Santa Maria Mayor Cindy Carolino invited her constituents who have any available land to plant guyabano and coffee.
Carolino said the Department of Agriculture nursery in town is offering guyabano and coffee seedlings, and they could get in touch with it if they’re interested.
In a few months you could be feasting on homegrown fruit and drinking homegrown coffee!
#FudSecurity,” Carolino posted.
