Quezon Rep. Helen Tan was drawn into controversy after she was given the Sinovac COVID 19 vaccine recently despite not being a frontline health care worker.
Reports said she would even be investigated by vaccine czar Sec. Carlito Galvez.
But it looks like the issue has been cleared up, with Tan thanking Galvez for going on record to explain that the vaccine given to Tan was part of the shipment set aside for the defense establishment.
Tan’s allocation was part of those set aside for the family of her son, a doctor at a military hospital.
Galvez also said her vaccination increased confidence in the use of Sinovac.
In a Facebook post, Tan shared Galvez’ message to her where he apologized and expressed appreciation for her efforts to increase vaccine confidence.
Tan said she does not want to waste more time explaining the matter.
For her, all’s well that ends well and troll accounts should just move on, she said.
Will her rivals drop the issue?
“Maraming salamat Sec. Galvez for clarifying this issue…
He apologised already to me..and I don’t wan’t to waste my time explaining..All’s well that ends well…

Sharing also his viber message to me…
Sa mga nega esp. troll accounts just move on
Pray ko po kayo,” Tan posted.
