Santa Cruz Vice Mayor Laarni Malibiran is helping couples seal their commitment by offering them free wedding rings.
In a Facebook post, Malibiran said the rings she offers are not made of gold, but these could still be made full of meaning.
The rings could come to symbolize something good if the couples would remain faithful and loving toward each other, she said.
The rings would be given to the first 100 couples who would sign up at her office for the month of March, she said.
Why not put a ring on it?
