A thank you means a lot to Cuenca Mayor Faye Endaya Barretto

Hard work is its own reward, but Cuenca Mayor Faye Endaya Barretto also appreciates a sincere thank you.
In a Facebook post, Barretto said sincere public service does not ask for anything in return.
But she is happy when she receives a message of appreciation for her efforts and sacrifice, such as the one given by the Batangas Association of Local Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Officers.
Messages like these serve to motivate her to continue with what she is doing, she said.
She thanked them for their message and said she enjoyed talking with the group which is composed of people who take the initiative to help others.
She salutes them, she added.
There’s mutual admiration between them!
