Cainta has been named the country’s wealthiest municipality, but this does not mean the local government has been hoarding its money for itself, according to Mayor Kit Nieto.
In a Facebook post, Nieto said Cainta has been named the wealthiest even though it dispenses cash daily for medical assistance for its people.
It gives out the money to those who are asking for help from the local government, he said.

“Atm.. wealthiest town tayo kahit na naglalabas tayo daily ng cash medical assistance sa lahat ng mga humihingi ng tulong sa gobyerno..😉,” Nieto posted.
