Abandoned dog now strong and healthy, says Angono Mayor Jeri Mae Calderon
The dog who was abandoned in a dike in San Vicente is now being cared for and doing well, but Angono Mayor Jeri Mae Calderon is still angry at the heartless person who left the dog there.
In a Facebook post, Calderon said the dog is now under the care of the Angono provincial office.
He is able to walk and is gaining weight.
It’s a good thing somebody was able to report the presence of the dog a the dike before typhoon Rolly struck, she said.
But she reminded people who try to take care of animals to be responsible pet owners.
We are talking about living things here, she said.
They should never be abandoned like a piece of trash!
