Cavite Board Member Ivee Reyes’ quest to buy milk tea led to something more.

Reyes will be helping more children this year, she said in a Facebook post.

This is because she has joined a program that entails saving P25 daily to help Filipino children get access to education, clean water, health services, and protection, especially in emergencies.

She said she was just planning to buy milk tea but decided to listen to the staffer who promoted the Unicef program.

She already donates to the organization monthly and has been its partner for 10 years now, she said.

But she has decided to help out even more, and her eldest will now join her in the program.

They’re starting off 2021 on the right foot!

“Decided to save 25 pesos daily to help more Filipino children get access to education, clean water, health services, and protection, especially in emergencies.

Bibili lng talaga ako ng milktea, but decided to stop and listen to Ms Jenny kahit kasama na si Unicef sa bdo credit card ko monthly. Been partnered with Unicef for more than 10 years now. This time, my eldest Yza will join me for 25 pesos daily savings. #unicef #unicefph #championforchildren #2021 #2021goals,” Reyes posted.
