New year, same vigilance vs COVID 19, says Alitagtag Mayor Edilberto Ponggos

Jan 4, 2021 @ 10:59

A new year is upon us, but this doesn’t mean Alitagtag Mayor Edilberto Ponggos is letting his guard down against COVID 19.

In a Facebook post, Ponggos reminded his constituents that the province of Batangas is still under general community quarantine, and health protocols must be observed.

He said the disinfection of stores, markets, and other private establishments would continue to be held every Monday.

They would have to close down at noon and disinfect their premises.

These establishments would be allowed to remain open up to 7 pm from Tuesday to Sunday.

The mayor also reminded all vendors and shoppers to wear their face masks and face shields.

Just because it’s a new year doesn’t mean the pandemic is over!

Maraming salamat,” Ponggos posted.
