Taytay Councilor Papoo Cruz has big dreams for the garments industry in his town.

One of them is to have the clothes made there to proudly sport the “Made in Taytay” tag, Cruz said in a Facebook post.

He shared these thoughts in an interview last year, which he reposted.

He hopes the garments manufacturers in Taytay would adopt his suggestion and make it a regular practice, he said.

Taytay’s not known as the garments capital for nothing!
