Why not make social media time family time as well?
Santa Maria Mayor Cindy Carolino has found a way to get families to bond on Tiktok by hosting Mayor Cindy’s Christmas Family Tiktok Challenge.
Carolino announced the contest on Facebook,.
The families who want to join can create any video they want on Tiktok.
The challenge is meant to encourage creativity and improve relations within the family by bringing them together, the mayor said.
The best videos would get corresponding rewards.
The families aren’t limited to showing off their dancing skills.. They could do dubbing, singing or acting, she said.
The deadline for submission is November 30.
Winners will be picked based on originality, content, and viewer impact.

What is the contest all about?
The Family Tiktok Challenge is where families can create videos on the video-sharing social network platform. The challenge seeks to encourage creativity and improve relations within the family by bringing them together in a simple Tiktok project. The best videos will have corresponding rewards.

Mga pamilya na nakatira sa Bayan ng Santa Maria, Laguna.
Rules:
1. Ang video ay binubuo ng miyembro ng bawat pamilya. Minimum of 3 members.
2. Ang video ay 15 to 60 seconds lamang ang haba.
3. Video sounds and music must be appropriate (no profanities and inappropriate language)
4. Appearances and performances must also be appropriate (no inappropriate gestures, wear appropriate clothing).
5. The challenge is not limited to just dance. Families can do dubbing, singing or acting.
How will the interested participants send their videos?
Interested participants should send their videos to the page. Deadline of submission of video is on Nov. 30, 2020. After which we will post the videos for the viewers impact.
The videos will be judged based on the following criteria:
30% Originality
30% Content of message
40% Viewer impact(Likes,Heart reacts)
