Bacoor Mayor Lani Mercado temporary shuts down Puregold branches and trike terminals due to COVID 19 spike
Bacoor Mayor Lani Mercado isn’t taking any chances.
Mercado has placed two Puregold branches and a tricycle terminal on lockdown.
This was after he aggressive community testing of supermarket employees and tricycle and pedicab drivers showed a spike in COVID 19 cases among them.
In a Facebook post, she said 17 new cases were recorded among members of the Pedicab Driver Association.
There were also 10 cases in Puregold Panapaan and 7 in Puregold V-Centrall Mall.
She immediately issued a temporary lockdown order for the Puregold branches and the terminal, which would be in effect up to December 1.
It’s for the public good!
