Cavite Board Member Kerby Salazar knows that school work can be taxing in various ways for students.

This is why he is supporting calls for an academic break following the recent calamities.

In a Facebook post, Salazar said the students’ physical and mental health have to be protected.

It’s no secret that they are dealing with a lot of things due to the recent typhoons, which caused flooding and loss of electricity in many homes.

The academic break will ensure that no student will be left behind, he said.

Education is important, but so are students’ health!

I am one with my fellow youth in their call for an academic break. It is our duty to ensure that no student is left behind. Walang dapat maiwan, walang dapat mapabayaan. Sama sama po tayo.

#NoStudentLeftBehind,” Salazar posted.
