Cavite Board Member Kerby Salazar takes action for Cagayan
Cavite Board Member Kerby Salazar’s heart breaks over the suffering that Cagayan has experienced due to typhoon Ulysses.
In a Facebook post, Salazar said he was able to talk to a colleague from the province and learned that everybody was having a hard time rescuing the affected residents.
He asked his friend how he could help and she said that anything would do.
The officials there don’t know what to do anymore, he was told.
He said he has been coordinating with friends to bring assistance to the people of Cagayan and will let everybody know when something has been organized.
Time to help the north!
“Just got off the phone from another colleague from Cagayan. Heartbreaking to hear stories straight from the ground. Hirap sila lahat don sa rescue ops. I asked, ‘Ano matutulong namin?’ My heart broke when she answered back, ‘Kahit ano Kerbs, di na namin alam gagawin namin.’ ?
PS: Coordinating with some friends already since last night. Will let you all know once we have something organized. ?,” Salazar posted.
