Laguna Board Member Angelica Jones Alarva contended with leaking roof during the typhoon
Instead of snuggling under the sheets when heavy rain fell, Laguna Board Member Angelica Jones Alarva found herself dealing with a leaking roof.
In a Facebook post, Alarva shared photos of the water dripping from her ceiling.
She said she woke up from her fever to see the leaks.
She had to deal with it because her mother is a senior citizen and the only other person in the house is her young son.
She had to keep close watch on the buckets catching the leaks so that she could empty these immediately once they were full, she said.
The heavy rains caused a lot of holes in her ceiling, she said.
But despite this challenge, she said she kept in mind that her situation was not as bad as those whose houses in the fields or mountains were devastated by the typhoon,
Better to deal with leaking ceilings than having a roof blow off!
My mom is senior citizen and baby angelo kasama ko.
Ganito katindi bagyo natin..
