Santa Maria Mayor Cindy Carolino working to bring the buses back
The quarantine has kept many public vehicles off the road, but Santa Maria Mayor Cindy Carolino is working to bring buses back in operation.
In a Facebook post, Carolino shared a photo of a DLTB bus and asked her constituents if they miss riding in it.
It would only be a matter of time before they could ride one again, she said.
She has been talking to the DLTB officials and would soon have discussions with the Land Transportation and Franchising Regulatory Board to allow the buses to travel from Santa Maria.
The route would be from baybay to Paranaque, where the central terminal for various buses is located.
It may not be long before the buses are back!
#ParaSaMananaka,” Carolino posted.
