Puno na! Naic Mayor Junio Dualan suspends online scholarship applications
Many students need help in these uncertain times, and it looks like Naic Mayor Junio Dualan has been bombarded with scholarship applications.
But Dualan said the local government could only help a certain number of students.
This was why he has to suspend the receipt of online scholarship applications.
In a Facebook post, he said 559 college online scholarship applications and 229 highschool online scholarship applications have been sent.
But the budget only provides for 230 college student scholars and 150 high school student scholars, he said.
The online applications are being evaluated.
A first come, first served policy is also observed, he said.
He would inform the public if there would still be open slots in the coming days.
Kami po ay sumusunod sa sinabi naming patakaran na strictly online applications only at first come first serve.
Marami pong salamat.
Mayor Junio C. Dualan,” Dualan posted.
