Tao pa naabala! Andeng Ynares warns remittance centers of closure over SAP distribution woes

Aug 27, 2020 @ 23:37

Antipolo, Rizal Mayor Andeng Ynares has warned remittance centers to shape up or face closure if they don’t fix their systems for releasing cash under the social amelioration program (SAP).

In an August 27 Facebook post, Ynares said she has received complaints of SAP beneficiaries having difficulty claiming cash from the remittance centers that have been tapped by the Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) and financial technology company Starpay.

Ynares said it was unfortunate that the systems of the remittance centers are not yet fixed considering SAP distribution is already on its second tranche.
