Hold on to your money, for now.

Naic Mayor Junio Dualan temporarily shut down remittance centers in his town after receiving reports that people there are not following physical distancing and other quarantine protocols.

Dualan also called a meeting at the town hall with the owners of the remittance centers Friday to discuss the issues and the guidelines they would have to strictly follow.

These would be intended to ensure the safety of the workers and the people using the remittance center, the mayor said in a Facebook post.

After the meeting, he would allow the remittance centers to open.

Dont’ panic; you would soon be able to send and receive money!

Mayor Junio C. Dualan,” Dualan posted.
