Credit the displaced workers for better looking sidewalks, says Cainta Mayor Kit Nieto
Cainta’s roads are being improved amid the quarantine, and credit goes to displaced workers.
Cainta Mayor Kit Nieto said on Facebook that he hired his constituents who could not find work amid the pandemic to conduct the concreting and improvement of the sidewalk along ROTC Hunters avenue.
The road improvement project allowed them to earn as they look for a regular job.
It also helped them improve the look of the town.
The quarantine is a good time for a town makeover!
“Sidewalk form and concreting along ROTC hunters ave. .. gawa pa rin ng mga kinuha nating mga workers na walang mapasukang trabaho dahil sa pandemya,” Nieto posted.
