Don’t laugh at other people’s misfortune, says Cavite Board Member Kerby Salazar
We don’t have to like all people, but we should not rejoice at their misfortune as well, according to Cavite Board Member Kerby Salazar.
What we need is compassion for others, as we never know what tomorrow might bring, Salazar said in a Facebook post.
There are no guarantees in life, and people laughing now could be crying the next day, he said.
This is why we should not be happy that other people are suffering.
You won’t want others to laugh at your suffering, would you?
“Don’t laugh at someone’s misfortune no matter how much you dislike that person. Be compassionate, instead, for you will never know what tomorrow will bring.
Always remember that life has no guarantee. You may be laughing today but could be crying tomorrow. That’s how life is so never find comfort in seeing other people’s failure.
May we all have a meaningful and blessed workweek ahead. Good morning! 💕🌱,” Salazar posted.
