Lecture, not jail, for new quarantine violators, says Alfonso Mayor Randy Salamat
In enforcing quarantine rules, educating the people may be more important than immediately punishing them.
Alfonso Mayor Randy Salamat lauded efforts of Alfonso authorities to educate quarantine violators of the importance of wearing face masks and using quarantine passes.
In a Facebook post, he said the local government and police are serious about imposing quarantine measures.
This was why the 32 individuals caught violating these were given a lecture on why there was a need for a modified enhanced community quarantine.
They were later released with a warning.
“Hindi po nag bibiro ang ating pamahalaan at kapulisan. Ito ay para din naman sa kaligtasan ninyo at ng inyong pamilya.
