Protect against polio, too, says Carmona Mayor Roy Loyola
Amid the COVID 19 pandemic, we must not forget to protect against other diseases, according to Carmona Mayor Roy Loyola.
In a Facebook post, Loyola said there is also a polio outbreak in the country that people have to worry about.
He said polio cannot be cured, but people can protect against it.
He invited his constituents to join the polio vaccination drive that would be conducted from August 17 to 31 for children five years old and below.
The vaccination team from the Municipal Health Office would have to go door to door to carry out the program, he said.
