Kaibigang maaasahan! Lani Mercado mourns Fr. Larry Faraon’s demise
Bacoor, Cavite Mayor Lani Mercado is saddened by the death of Fr. Larry Faraon, a former station manager and anchor of the Catholic Church’s Radyo Veritas.
Faraon died on July 26 due to pneumonia. He was 64 years old.
In a Facebook post, Mercado recalled Faraon’s presence when her husband, Senator Ramon “Bong” Revilla Jr., was jailed at Camp Crame for plunder charges related to the pork barrel scam.
“Father Larry is one of the regular priests who would be with us in Camp Crame for mass services and he also played a part in the last few days of my Father in Law. This is truly a sad day. We miss you Father Larry,” she said.
Mercado said she’s praying for the repose of Faraon’s soul.
