Taytay Councilor Pia Cabral explains absence at recent session, vows support for transparency
Taytay Councilor Pia Cabral knows there is a lot to be done, but her health condition did not allow her to attend a recent session.
In a Facebook post, Cabral said she had to go to the hospital for a check up because she was not feeling well. She suffers from acid reflux, she said.
She asked for pardon from people who thought she did not give importance to the agenda that day.
She also said she would push for a freedom of information ordinance in Taytay because she herself has been the victim of fake news.
She would work to give people access to important information so that there would be true transparency.
She knows she has the people’s support in this even if she is being dubbed #EXCEPTONE1, she said.
