No tagay for now, says Ibaan Mayor Joy Salvame
Ibaan Mayor Joy Salvame has brought back the liquor ban, among other measures, because of the rising number of COVID 19 cases in town.
In a Facebook post, Salvame said there is a need to curb the increase in cases by limiting the movement and activities of people once more.
She would return the liquor ban and the prohibition on social gatherings for non-essential activities, such as birthday parties, she said.
The 8 pm to 5 am curfew would also be back.
Postpone the drinking sprees!
“Dahil sa patuloy na pagdami ng bilang ng mga kaso ng COVID-19 dito sa ating bayan ay mahigpit natin muling ipapatupad ang mga patakaran kontra sa COVID-19 gaya ng LIQUOR BAN at PROHIBITION OF SOCIAL GATHERING (for non-essential activities like, but not limited to birthday parties, etc.) dahil ito ang sanhi ng pagkalat ng COVID-19 dito sa ating bayan.
#IbaanUpdate,” Salvame posted.
